SUMMARY

We are an innovative and market-leading software & services company based in Chorley serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing suppliers. We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, smart energy clients.

We operate a Hybrid working policy so you will be able to flex between working in the office and your home location to carry out this role, however during your initial training period the need to be in office with other team members will be essential. Our UK office is based in Chorley, which is where you will be based.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

Manage and maintain the company's credit control processes globally.

Monitor and manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.

Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers were deemed necessary.

Support in negotiating and enforcing payment plans and terms with clients where necessary.

Prepare and distribute regular reports on credit control activities and outstanding debts.

Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.

Assist in the development and implementation of credit control policies and procedures.

You must have:



Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Experience with NetSuite is preferred.

Working with teams and accounts across time zones is preferred.
