We are seeking a highly responsible and safety-focused Onsite Contract Delivery Manager to oversee delivery and logistics operations at our customer's site. In this critical role, you will manage the execution of contractual delivery services, lead onsite teams, and ensure strict compliance with security protocols. The ideal candidate has experience working in highly regulated environments and contract logistics and can maintain operational efficiency without compromising safety or compliance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Contract Delivery Management: Ensure all contractual delivery obligations are met in full, on time, and in strict accordance with site-specific requirements and regulatory standards.
Site Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day delivery operations at the client's nuclear licensed facility, including inbound/outbound logistics, scheduling, documentation, and tracking.
Safety & Compliance Leadership: Uphold and enforce all health, safety, environmental (HSE), and nuclear-specific regulations. Ensure that all personnel operate within the bounds of safety case documentation and site license conditions.
Security Adherence: Maintain compliance with security clearance procedures, restricted access protocols, and classified materials handling.
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary on-site point of contact with the client, maintaining open communication and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of delivery and logistics personnel, ensuring appropriate training, and adherence to site policies.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track KPIs such as delivery timeliness, compliance incidents, safety near-misses, and customer satisfaction. Produce routine reports for internal and client review.
Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis: Manage delivery-related incidents or near misses according to site protocols. Lead investigations, produce reports, and implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, ensuring operational efficiency within the bounds of regulatory and license constraints.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external teams.
Undertake any other duties as may be required by Senior Management commensurate with the responsibilities of the job or the requirements of the business.
Key Skills & Ideal Experience Required
Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience: Minimum 5 years in logistics/delivery management, with at least 2 years managing operations on regulated or high-security industrial sites (preferably nuclear, MOD, aerospace, etc.)
Leadership & People Management: Experience leading teams in high-risk environments with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational performance.
Security Awareness: Familiarity with physical and information security protocols for sensitive or restricted-access sites.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and reporting skills, capable of communicating effectively with client representatives, regulators, and internal leadership.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in logistics and delivery software systems (WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with safety management systems is a plus.

Security vetting is a requirement for all roles at CTS and any offers of employment are made subject to obtaining and maintaining the necessary security clearance. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide proof of 5 years' UK residency.
