Alongside this scale and financial strength is a clear focus on delivering high-quality services and well-maintained homes for the people who live in them. Our Contract Manager is a role with real purpose. Sitting in the Planned Maintenance Team, you could play a central part in improving the quality of homes through planned major component replacement programmes (kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs) - all while ensuring that our tenants are informed, engaged, and supported every step of the way.

Why This Role Could Be a Great Fit for You:

Make a difference -

your work will help deliver high-quality, well-maintained homes that provide safe, comfortable living environments for residents.

Own the process -

from pre-contract planning through to site inspections and reporting, you'll drive the delivery of planned maintenance works.

Work with people -

Build trusted relationships with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to ensure smooth, customer-focused projects.

Shape the future -

Bring your technical and contract management skills to a programme that's vital to our long-term sustainability strategy.

What's the role?

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

Leading and managing a high-performing team of Surveyors.

Conducting property inspections and collecting detailed data to assess planned maintenance needs.

Leading the delivery of planned maintenance programmes, including major component replacements and stock investment works.

Monitoring contractor performance, managing budgets, and producing reports that keep our Planned Maintenance strategy on track.

Engaging and communicating with tenants to explain upcoming works, manage expectations, and ensure smooth delivery.

Ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety & CDM regulations.

Working closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a programme that meets energy efficiency and tenant satisfaction goals.

Our ideal candidate?

Your CV and cover letter will highlight:

A relevant HNC or equivalent qualification, or significant equivalent work experience.

Significant technical experience in construction or maintenance related contract management.

Experience managing budgets and completing the associated financial administration.

You will be an excellent people manager, with a proven ability to lead and motivate your team to achieve challenging targets and objectives, using your excellent communication skills and ability to build strong professional relationships.
