The Role:

Working within the operations team you will help coordinate and run a team of lightning conductor fitters in the Livingston area. Responsible for the timely delivery of works to a high standard you will ensure costs are controlled and planned profit margins are maintained or improved through scheduling works, managing resource, labour and materials alongside assisting on people management issues. Assisting in providing technical support and guidance to clients you will be their first point of contact developing key relationships helping to generate repeat business. Promoting and maintaining Health & Safety standards. Completion of risk/method statements. Auditing and closely monitoring site progress through surveys and effective performance management of a field-based team.

What you'll need:

To be successful - you will adopt a 'hands on' approach with an ability to command respect from peers, work well under pressure and efficiently drive a team forwards. Commercially astute with contracts management experience, you will have a proven track record of client delivery with an ability to professionally communicate at all levels, ensuring operational excellence is achieved. Experience within the contracting, electrical or construction industry with an electrical or lightning protection knowledge will have a distinct advantage, you will thrive on problem solving tasks and display excellent organisational skills. The role requires frequent travel and the ability to adopt a flexible working pattern to respond and meet operational requirements will be required to fulfil this role.
