About the role




Cotswold District Council is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Support Officer to provide essential administrative and operational support in the management of waste-related contracts. Working closely with the Customer Services team at Publica and the Council's Contract Monitoring Officer, you'll help ensure services are delivered efficiently and in line with contractual obligations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records, coordinating with stakeholders, tracking key performance metrics, and helping to resolve issues throughout the contract lifecycle.


This is a key support role requiring strong organisational and communication skills, with a focus on compliance, data accuracy, and stakeholder coordination. You'll play a vital part in service delivery by monitoring complaints and trends, reporting on performance, and ensuring waste services meet regulatory standards. You will need



GCSE Maths and English or equivalent to grade C/4 or higher A high level of judgement, tact, discretion and initiative Experience of adapting to change and developing new initiatives, which involve the increased use of technology To ensure that all relevant customers and company information is captured and recorded accurately
