Summary:



We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at JBB Electrical Ltd. This role is vital in providing administrative and operational support to the contracting/estimating teams. This role helps ensure accurate and timely preparation of quotes, proposals, and estimates while supporting the contracting team with improving procurement and project delivery.

It plays a key role in helping the company deliver accurate pricing, maintaining strong client relationships and delivering contracts on time/budget.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in preparing and formatting quotes and estimates based on project specifications Support the sales and estimating teams by gathering information, verifying data, and coordinating with internal departments (manufacturing, installation, software) Maintain and update estimating databases with client and project information Help manage and track the status of estimates and follow up with clients as needed Organize and file relevant documents including drawings, specifications, and tender documents Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, or calls with clients and vendors Generate regular sales and estimating reports to track progress and outcomes Provide administrative support including email communication, data entry, and document preparation Assist in developing and implementing new procurement system

Additional Responsibilities:



Assist contracting team with project admin, (O+M's manuals, team calendar/planner) Meeting minutes for contract meetings Assist in the development and implementation of new marketing strategy

Qualifications:



Required:



Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Skills & Competencies:



Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Clear and professional written and verbal communication

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Comfortable working under deadlines and shifting priorities

Working Conditions:



Office based

25-30 Hours/week

Flexible Time can be agreed to suit both parties
