We are looking for a

Contractor's Engineering Manager

to join our Infrastructure team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and delivering the Engineering and Design Management Activities for the Project or Portfolio of Projects in the region.



What you'll do:





Setup and develop Engineering and Design Management Plans, tools and process for the Project. Undertake CEM Duties for the Project that you are appointed to. Identify and lead the development of engineering solutions for the project. Embed construction methodology and requirements into the design. Assess the competency and appoint CREs and Other Technical Appointments. Management and co-ordination of the Engineering and Design Management Team to ensure that the works are assured in line with Network Rail Standards and delivered in accordance with the project programme and budget. Responsible for setting up, implementing and delivering the Engineering and Design Management Activities for the Project Lead Design Management of the design works for the design activities on your project.

What you'll bring to the role:





Must be a Chartered Engineer Demonstrable experience of undertaking the CEM for a new multi-disciplinary station projects role in accordance with NR/L2/RSE/02009. Experience in the delivery of design, construction and handback of works in accordance with Network Rail or similar Rail sector standards on similar scale or complexity of projects. Experience of Leading and Managing Technical teams. A collaborative attitude across internal teams and external teams
