Location: Heathfield, Newton Abbot, Devon

Flooring Matters SW Ltd is an award-winning, independent flooring specialist based in Newton Abbot, Devon.

We work across residential, commercial, and social housing sectors and are continuing to expand our contracts division.

We are now looking for an experienced Flooring Contracts Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will already be working in a similar role within the flooring/construction industry, bringing strong technical knowledge and proven experience in managing contracts from enquiry through to completion.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the flooring sector. In-depth knowledge of flooring types, subfloor preparation, and installation methods. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-focused approach. Confident communicator with clients, suppliers, and colleagues. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence.

Key responsibilities:

Carry out site surveys and inspections. Produce accurate quotations, tender returns, and estimates. Manage material and labour costs effectively. Oversee scheduling of works, ensuring projects run smoothly and to specification. Build and maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients. Provide technical guidance and support to both the office team and fitters. Handle client queries and manage variations/changes efficiently.
