Contracts Supervisor (Apprenticeship Opportunity)

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Salary:

35,000 - 40,000 (dependent on experience)

Training:

Progression to a Level 6 NVQ Apprenticeship

We are looking for a proactive and driven individual to join our team as a Contracts Supervisor. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction management, with a clear pathway to gaining a recognised Level 6 NVQ qualification.

The successful candidate must be based in or near Brent and have a background in construction, with a solid understanding of how building sites operate. Working closely with the Contracts Manager and site teams, you will support the supervision of roofing contracts to ensure they are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards. This is a hands-on role where you will learn project supervision, planning, communication, and compliance through a mix of practical site experience and structured training.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the supervision of multiple contracts under the direction of the Contracts Manager Coordinate directly employed operatives and subcontractors on site Support the review and approval of timesheets and subcontractor invoices Monitor material deliveries and contract programmes Help prepare risk assessments, method statements, and quality plans Contribute to safety, quality control, and contract compliance Attend site meetings, client briefings, and company training sessions Maintain accurate daily records and report on site activity

Requirements:

Must be based in Brent Background in construction is essential Level 3 NVQ in Supervision (or equivalent) Valid CSCS card CSCS Working at Height training Strong written and verbal communication skills Keen attention to detail with a proactive and reliable attitude Comfortable working both on-site and in an office environment Organised, numerate, and able to follow clear instructions Basic IT skills, including MS Office and email systems Interest in construction, roofing, and health & safety practices
