to join our team in Kegworth.

About the Role

As a Control Panel Builder at JBB Electrical, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels to a high standard. You will work from technical drawings and schematics, ensuring each panel is built accurately, safely, and in line with industry regulations and our internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Build and wire control panels from engineering drawings and electrical schematics Lay out, drill, and assemble components including circuit breakers, relays, PLCs, terminals, and cable management systems Carry out panel testing, including continuity and functional checks Ensure all work complies with electrical standards and company procedures Prepare panels for installation and support the engineering team when required Maintain an organised and safe working environment
What We're Looking For

Experience in control panel building or electrical assembly Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams Strong understanding of electrical principles Excellent attention to detail and tidy workmanship Proactive attitude with the ability to use initiative Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and committed
Desirable (Not Essential)

PLC wiring experience Industrial/automation background ECS/CSCS card
