Job Description

Power and Control Systems Ltd are a leading company specialising in the manufacture, electrical engineering and assemble of bespoke critical power solutions.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit an Electrical Control Panel Quality Inspector to join our existing team.

The Role


As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key part in ensuring that every electrical panel leaving our factory meets our strict quality standards. You'll carry out inspections at various stages of production, verifying that workmanship, wiring and labelling meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Inspect electrical panels at build and final stages to ensure compliance with drawings, wiring schematics, and company standards. Conduct electrical and visual checks, including component verification. Identify and record non-conformances, supporting the team in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation for quality audits. Work closely with production and engineering teams to promote continuous improvement.

Skills and Experience



Experience in electrical or mechanical inspection, ideally within control panel manufacturing or a similar industry. Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and general electrical assembly practices. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality checking. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
