Hourly Pay Rate: 13.85 per hour
Job Schedule: 4 Shifts on 4 Shifts off
Shift and Schedule: Days, Nights and Weekends
Location: Mill Court, Spindle Way Crawley
The Control Room Supervisor (CRS) is responsible for the daily operation of the Response Centre which covers alarm response, communications, and security operations management across our portfolio.
The CRS will ensure exemplary standards of security and customer service are always provided to the clients and sites. This is a high-pressure environment, you must be able to operate well under pressure, with an excellent attitude and behaviour skill set to match. A four-on-four off shift pattern is worked covering Nights on a 12-hour shift, this will include weekend and bank holiday working, pay rate at 13.85 p/h.
Role Responsibilities
The key role is dealing with Intruder, Fire and CCTV alarms on the Webeye alarm monitoring software.
To deal efficiently and effectively with emergencies including fire, break-ins and criminal activities.
To consult closely with statutory authorities and client Management dealing with alarm and CCTV incidents and the provision of information to a number of individuals and organisations.
To provide regular liaison and timely feedback to the management team on all aspects of service delivery, implementing effective solutions and corrective action to enhance the service.
Ensure a timely response to all security issues and events and assist with escalation procedures and processes, ensuring reports are completed in a timely manner.
Capable of communicating effectively with our clients, staff on sites and 3rd party contractors.
Be able to issue and receive detailed instructions both written and verbally.
Be able to plan and organise daily routines and activities.
Be able to identify and meet training requirements.
To amend rosters and change/assign shifts as and when needed.
To act as first point of contact for staff and clients.
The Ideal Candidate
SIA Front Line OR Door Supervisor and CCTV licence required, although training can be provided.
PC literate, a good level of knowledge of Microsoft products is essential (word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook)
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workload.
Good telephone manners and have the ability to remain calm when dealing with serious incidents and difficult customers.
Good standard of spoken and written English.
The ability to reliably travel to our premises (Driving license preferred but not essential)
Have a polite, positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
Experience of working in a fast paced proactive and reactive ARC control room environment
Package description
The successful applicant will need to be flexible and committed to their duties. A valid SIA licence and the ability to work with IT equipment are essential requirements. Ideally the successful applicant must also be familiar with CCTV equipment, Access Control and Alarm Response. We offer competitive renumeration within the sector and ongoing employee development.
