We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. Duties
Manage all aspects of property transactions from instruction through to completion, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
Prepare and review legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage deeds.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction progress.
Conduct searches, enquiries, and due diligence to ensure legal compliance and minimise risks.
Organise and maintain accurate case files and documentation in line with firm procedures.
Provide clear communication updates to clients regarding transaction progress and any issues that arise.
Ensure all work complies with current legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in conveyancing or property law is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
Good time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and legal compliance.
A recognised legal qualification or relevant professional accreditation is advantageous but not mandatory.
