Conveyancer - Horsforth (Leeds)
Full-time, hybrid | Up to 50,000 DOE

The opportunity

law firm in Horsforth is looking for an experienced Conveyancer to join its growing residential property team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is a key hire for someone who wants high-quality work, slick systems and genuine flexibility while handling their own varied caseload.?

Key responsibilities

Manage your own caseload of residential sale and purchase matters from instruction through to post-completion, including freehold and leasehold work.? Draft, review and negotiate contracts, transfer deeds and all other documentation required for the transaction.? Carry out all required due diligence including title investigation, raising and reviewing enquiries, reviewing searches and reporting to clients and lenders.? Liaise proactively with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders and other solicitors to progress files efficiently and maintain excellent service levels.? Ensure compliance with all regulatory, anti-money laundering and risk management requirements.? Use the firm's modern case management systems and workflows to keep files, documents and correspondence fully up to date.?

About you

Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.? Around 2 years' PQE (or equivalent hands-on residential conveyancing experience) with confidence running your own caseload with limited supervision.? Strong technical knowledge of the conveyancing process and current residential property practice.? Excellent communication skills and a

client-focused

approach, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.? Comfortable working in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment and embracing streamlined, digital processes.?
