Job Description

We are looking for a Conveyancing Administrator to join our New Business team, serving as the first point of contact and representing Fairstep Solicitors to new clients.

The Role



We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to work closely alongside other support staff; assisting with a wide range of daily tasks with the ability to handle a large and varied workload.

As a client facing role, the ideal candidate will need to be personable with a professional manner in order to deal with clients and referrers on the telephone and in person. This is an office based position.

The Candidate



To be suitable for this role, candidates should possess the following essential and/or preferable skills, which will ensure success and contribute to the continued growth of our team.

Essential



Previous administrative experience. Comfortable managing own & shared mailboxes/workload. Comfortable communicating directly with clients & other parties. The ability to work as part of a team. Able to prioritise a workload effectively. Provide advice to clients on legal matters related to property purchases or sales. A proactive, professional and flexible approach to work.

Preferable



Previous experience of working with varied IT and phone systems. Familiarity of conveyancing terms.

The day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to:

Quoting conveyancing fees Opening files in accordance with agreed service levels; Scanning & processing paperwork and assigning to files; Reception duties
