We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team. Prior experience in conveyancing or legal support is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Duties
Assist with the preparation and organisation of legal documentation related to property transactions
Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and document exchange
Manage and update case files accurately, ensuring all relevant information is recorded and accessible
Coordinate the progression of conveyancing files, including searches, enquiries, and completion arrangements
Schedule appointments and meetings for solicitors and clients as required
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Support the team in drafting correspondence and reports related to property transactions
Monitor deadlines and ensure all tasks are completed within specified timeframes
Requirements
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous experience in conveyancing or legal administration is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about property law processes
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
