Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team. The successful candidate will support the conveyancing process, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of property transactions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a professional legal environment, working closely with solicitors and clients to facilitate property transfers and related legal procedures.

Duties



Assist with the preparation and organisation of conveyancing documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, and title deeds Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information and updates Conduct property searches and coordinate with external agencies to obtain necessary reports Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and filed appropriately Monitor transaction progress to ensure deadlines are met and communicate updates to relevant parties Support solicitors in drafting correspondence and legal notices related to property transactions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property law regulations and conveyancing procedures Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining databases, and handling correspondence

Requirements



Previous experience or understanding of conveyancing processes is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required A professional attitude with a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,420.00-33,881.90 per year
