The role will include:
Provision of administrative assistance in the conveyancing department.
Effective and accurate case management in line with the firm's standards and legal requirements.
Preparation of Contract Packs.
Requesting Searches.
Applying for mortgage funds.
Obtaining Redemption Statements.
Preparing completion documents and any other steps in the transaction and completion process.
Dealing with post completion procedures i.e. submission of SDLT returns and applications for registrations.
Preparation, organisation and archiving of legal files and supporting documentation.
Handling of client and 3rd party telephone calls, enquiries and requests, ensuring that all are dealt with efficiently and politely.
Adhering to and promoting compliance with Conveyancing Quality Scheme and the Conveyancing Protocol, the firm's policies, practices and procedures; legislation applicable to the profession and to any relevant quality standard
experience of using the Hoowla case management system is an advantage.
