Conveyancing Assistant, St Helens

Long established Law Firm is recruiting an experienced residential Conveyancing Assistant to join its well-regarded and CQS accredited residential property team based in St Helens and Prescot.

Established for over 100 years with a particular focus on residential property. Long standing reputation in the property sector and well recognised in the local conveyancing market. Progressive firm using innovative technology and processes to offer an efficient service to its clients.
The main role of the Conveyancing Assistant is to support a Conveyancing Fee Earner with all elements of the conveyancing transaction.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

You will deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and occasionally face to face, to provide advice and assistance You will be responsible for chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches You will keep the case management system and any third-party web sites up to date in real time You will ensure our clients and introducers of business receive the best possible service at times You will prepare required documentation as required with the conveyancing process You will prepare the completion packs for the accounts department, to include completion statements and invoices You will deal with post exchange matters as directed by your team manager You will assist with completions on the day of completion You will comply with policies and procedures Any other administrative duties required to assist your team and other teams should the need arise

Essential Skills

:

3 years experience is essential Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment Excellent attention to detail Good telephone manner Conversant in Microsoft office Highly organised Willingness to learn new skills Experience of using a case management system
BENEFITS

Salary stated is for information only and is negotiable depending on experience. Office based role, no hybrid or remote working. The role is based at our St Helens or Prescot office. 9:00am - 5:00pm working hours. Full time permanent position.

Pay: 22,880.00-23,247.00 per year
