Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Conveyancer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring smooth transactions for our clients. You will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transfers, providing expert advice, and maintaining effective communication with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Manage the conveyancing process from start to finish, including preparing and reviewing legal documents. Conduct property searches and due diligence to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Advise clients on their rights and obligations in relation to property transactions. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to facilitate communication and resolve any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the conveyancing process. Ensure timely completion of transactions while adhering to deadlines. Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices to provide informed advice to clients.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in law or a relevant field, with specific training in conveyancing preferred. Previous experience in a conveyancing role or similar legal environment is advantageous. Strong understanding of property law and the conveyancing process. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly. High attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple cases effectively. Proficiency in using legal software and technology for document management and communication. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
