We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Conveyancer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions, ensuring that all processes are conducted smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of property law and excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, estate agents, and other legal professionals.
Duties
Manage the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage offers.
Conduct property searches and investigations to identify any potential issues affecting the transaction.
Liaise with clients to provide updates on progress and address any queries or concerns.
Collaborate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and documentation related to each case.
Provide expert advice on property law matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions - remortgages, Transfers, purchase and sales.
Ensure timely completion of transactions while adhering to deadlines.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in handling property transactions independently.
Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and Land Registry procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases.
Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum 2 years experience required.
