Smith and Graham Solicitors are a very well established, CQS accredited, North East based law firm with offices in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Peterlee. We have been in business for over 130 years and are recruiting additional staff to meet the demands of our expanding business.

The Partner's are seeking a confident and experienced Residential and Commercial Conveyancer which will be based at our Peterlee office. Applicants must have a varied knowledge of freehold, leasehold and right to buy matters from initial instruction through to post completion. The work will involve purchases, you will need to be able to run a purchase file from start to finish with minimal supervision.

You will need to be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team. You need to be precise in your work and have exceptional client care skills.

You will be required to attend clients, to give quotes, take instructions and provide updates, showing an ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritising your workload and progressing matters accordingly. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills with a range of people from all backgrounds and work as a team member.

Salary is based upon experience and starts at 24,500.
