Conveyancing Fee Earner, St Helens

Long established Law Firm is recruiting an experienced residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its well-regarded and CQS accredited residential property team based in St Helens, Prescot and Rainhill.

We are currently looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Qualified Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join our team.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of conveyancing cases, pro-actively managing the transactions through to exchange and completion while delivering a strong client service.

You will be working within a high-volume residential conveyancing environment.

You should be able to:

Manage a caseload and perform a full range of tasks Act independently when establishing priorities and managing deadlines Utilise your extensive experience and knowledge of residential conveyancing Assist team members as and when required Communicate, and build, relationships with clients and third parties in a professional and knowledgeable manner Provide excellent customer service You will be dealing with a personal caseload of residential property files, and you will have fantastic communication skills both orally and written.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete tasks efficiently, accurately and within specified timescales. Managing a caseload with a variation of freehold and leasehold transactions which include new build, unregistered and shared ownership properties. Processing and dealing with post in a timely manner Checking contract documentation, enquiries, mortgage offers and search results Replying to complex legal enquiries Dealing with exchange of contracts and completion of transactions Daily task list management
You will be able to:

Manage telephone calls. Understand and report on complex legal issues and documentation. Actively communicating with clients, recommenders, conveyancers, agents and third parties. This will include communication in person, in writing, or by telephone. Ability to check, draft and produce accurate comprehensive documentation for clients, professional persons and third parties.
Office based role. No hybrid or remote working.

Full Time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Salary dependent on experience plus achievable bonus.

Who we're looking for:

You should have at least 3 years' experience as a Fee Earner in residential conveyancing as well as working with estate agent groups. In a busy team it is important you are result oriented and must be able to work well with high volume work. Strong communication skills are ley as well as working knowledge of case management systems, Microsoft word, excel and outlook.
