We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Conveyancing paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property law and conveyancing processes, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. .This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, providing exceptional service to clients throughout the conveyancing process as well as other processes.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction through to completion.
Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
Conduct property searches and liaise with relevant authorities to obtain necessary information.
Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any queries.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Handle financial transactions related to property sales and purchases, ensuring funds are managed correctly.
Provide advice to clients on legal matters related to property transactions.
Case Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and affidavits related to divorce, child custody, and support cases.
Client Communication: Interacting with clients to gather information, explain processes, and keep them updated on case progress.
Filing Documents: Filing legal documents with the court and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Organizing Files: Maintaining organized case files, including evidence, correspondence, and court documents.
Being able to attend court hearings.
Skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for document preparation and communication.
Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient command of English for clear communication both verbally and in writing.
IT skills for managing case management systems and other relevant software.
Experience in an office environment with a focus on client service.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
