Residential & Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor

to join our Property team.

Role Overview

We are looking for a solicitor with strong experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing to handle a varied caseload from instruction to completion. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage files independently while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of residential and commercial property transactions including freehold, leasehold, new builds, shared ownership, transfers of equity, re-mortgages, and commercial leases. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related property documents. Conduct all relevant searches, due diligence, and title reviews. Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, brokers, and third parties to progress matters efficiently. Ensure all work complies with SRA and CQS standards and internal risk management policies. Meet financial and billing targets while maintaining high client satisfaction. Supervise and support junior team members, if required. Keep up to date with developments in property law and practice.

Requirements

Qualified Solicitor (2+ years PQE preferred) with proven experience in residential and commercial conveyancing. Strong technical knowledge of property law, Land Registry, and Lender requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision. Client-focused, proactive, and well-organised with attention to detail. Experience using case management systems (e.g., LEAP) is desirable.
