We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing property transactions, ensuring legal compliance, and facilitating smooth communication between clients and relevant authorities. Duties
Prepare and review legal documentation related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage agreements.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors to coordinate the progression of property deals.
Conduct title searches and verify property ownership details to ensure clear titles.
Negotiate terms and conditions of transactions to secure favourable outcomes for clients.
Manage the entire conveyancing process from instruction through to completion, ensuring deadlines are met, including freehold, leasehold, remortgages, transfer of equity, shared ownership, new build etc.
Ensuring AML records are kept on each file.
Keep accurate records of all correspondence and documentation related to each case.
Provide legal advice to clients regarding property rights, obligations, and transaction procedures.
Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry best practices affecting property conveyancing.
Requirements
Proven experience in conveyancing or property law is highly desirable.
At least 2 years PQE Solicitor or 1 year worth of experience working in conveyancing
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
A recognised legal qualification or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
