Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals .
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
- Assist in the development of new menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of food, utensils, and equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
