We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering delicious meals to our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning and execution of meal preparation, ensuring all food is prepared in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to strict food safety standards. Help in the inventory management of kitchen supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as needed to meet culinary standards. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or similar environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a kitchen setting. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that delight guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 16 per week
