We are on the look out for a cook to join our kitchen team.
This is a full time position working 5 days out of 7 to include evenings and weekends but our service times will include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. No split shifts. All Year Round Employment.
Duties include:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, following food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation
- Assist with meal planning, Specials and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques
- Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
