Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input for new dishes. Serve meals to customers when required, ensuring an excellent presentation and service quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable, particularly in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation.
