Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a cook. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with a commitment to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Provide excellent service during meal times, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21 per hour
