We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meal preparation and food safety while ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our kitchen operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, including daily specials.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a culinary role or kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of meal preparation, food safety practices, and culinary techniques.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
