We are seeking a dedicated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to food safety and hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in meal preparation for large groups, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
Keep track of inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring standards are consistently met.
