Job Summary

We are looking for a caring and reliable cook to join our team at Bay Tree House. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference to the lives of our residents by preparing nutritious, home-style meals.

Working Hours - 36 hours per week (on a two-week rota):

Week 1:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Week 2:

Monday, Tuesday, Saturday - 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Sunday - 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Duties Include:

Preparing and cooking meals tailored to residents' dietary needs Ensuring food is presented attractively and served on time Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards Managing stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies Working closely with care staff to support residents' wellbeing

What We're Looking For:

Experience in cooking, ideally in a care or healthcare setting Knowledge of food hygiene and safety (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred) A caring attitude and a genuine interest in elderly care Good organisation and time-management skills
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
