Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, along with a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.

Duties

Prepare ingredients for meals, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for special events or daily service. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Provide support in serving meals during busy periods, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in fast-paced settings. Culinary experience that showcases creativity and attention to detail in meal presentation. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for food and a desire to continually learn and improve culinary skills.
