Job Description

Amelia House is a warm and welcoming care home dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to 19 residents. We are looking for a passionate and skilled cook to join our team and help us deliver nutritious meals and snacks to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals according to the dietary needs and preferences of residents.

Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet health and safety standards.

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all food safety regulations.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Hours - 08:00 - 16:00 - 2 days - 16 hours per week.

OR 08.00 - 18.00. 3 days per week - 30 hours per week.

Full training and induction will be provided.

An enhanced DBS will be required, costs are met by the employer, conditions apply.

The Ideal candidate will be able to work alternative weekends.

Extra hours are sometimes available (if required), to cover annual leave.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.75 per hour
