We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages or issues to the kitchen manager. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or specials. Stock rotation and Orders

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to prepare meals efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen setting. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new techniques. Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
