Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Dog & Partridge public house. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals that reflect our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Your culinary expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our guests' dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to our menu standards. Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are strictly followed. Assist in meal preparation and kitchen organization. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Contribute to menu development with creative meal ideas. Taking deliveries and practicing good stock rotation. Making orders to suppliers. Ensuring colleagues practice good hygiene and health and safety. general duties involved in a busy kitchen environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or pub setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for cooking. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication skills and a good sense of humour.
