Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and reliable
Cook
to join our team in a large supported living home in Torquay.In this role, you'll prepare nutritious and tasty meals for our residents, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences. You'll be an important part of our home, helping to create a warm and welcoming mealtime experience.
What you'll do:
Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals for residents. Cater for specific dietary requirements (allergies, textures, cultural needs). Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
What we're looking for:
Previous cooking or catering experience (care home or similar setting an advantage not essential ). Understanding of food safety and hygiene (Food Hygiene training provided). A positive attitude, flexibility, and good organisational skills. Someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in their work.
Hours:
Sunday and Tuesday shifts 8-1
(with occasional holiday cover).Benefits:
