The ideal candidate will possess a good background in food preparation and cooking, with an emphasis on food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices. Serve meals to residents, ensuring an exceptional dining experience through attentive service.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred. Good skills in food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices. Experience in large kitchen environment is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for Residents.
