Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Serve meals to customers, ensuring an excellent dining experience through attentive service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Keep the kitchen clean and tidy by doing dishes, cleaning surfaces and floors

Experience

Experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation. Previous experience serving customers in a dining context is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently as part of a team while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for food and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
