Job Description
Preparing breakfast, lunch and snacks to children in the nursery from age 9 months to pre-school
Specifically:
- Creating & updating a 4 week rotating menu, ensuring adherence to the 'Setting the Table' document. This menu will change in both summer and winter.
- Preparing a weekly shopping list.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and snack daily at set meal times in the nursery routine, with meticulous attention to any children with allergies.
- Clear away and wash all dishes after meal times.
- Ensure kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.
- Completing daily paperwork required by The Food Standards Agency 'Cooksafe' , eg. food temperature monitoring, fridge and freezer temperature monitoring and cleaning schedules.
MUST have Elementary food hygiene certificate and be capable of completing Environmental Health required HACCP sheets
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Work Location: In person
