Haylie House is a 23 bedded Residential Home providing excellent standards of care and support; through promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

to join our team.

The Contract:

12.94 per hour Shifts - 9am-5:30pm including weekends worked as a rota of 3 or 4 shifts per week Paid breaks Company pension 5.6 weeks annual leave Free onsite parking
Essential Experience / Criteria:

Relevant catering qualification - achieved or working towards Cooking experience - minimum 2 years preferred Team player with leadership and supervision skills Level 2 food hygiene certificate held Good communication skills Ability to work on own initiative Enthusiastic and passionate about our service and reputation Experience working in a care environment would be advantageous but not a deal-breaker.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook varied, nutritious home-cooked meals whilst considering individual dietary requirements Provide special diets where necessary Bake cakes and pastries Provide support and supervision to kitchen assistants with various tasks Ensure all front of house areas are presented at all meal times to agreed standard Maintain and improve professional knowledge and competence Ensure all HACCP, Food Safety, and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are always adhered to. Assist in ordering of stock and delivery checks Ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned, stored, and used appropriately Assist with scheduling of kitchen staff and carrying out regular staff appraisals
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.94 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week
