Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen operations and food safety, with a keen interest in meal preparation and culinary excellence. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards and delight our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, including portion control and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to the management team. Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal preparation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
