Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service times. Help develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal dishes.

Skills

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Good communication skills to work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
