We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and meal preparation, with a keen understanding of food safety standards. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards and delight our customers.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of dishes.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques, with experience in a professional kitchen environment.
