Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in creating delicious meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly while upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Participate in menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements to existing recipes. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary skills is important. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to help create a positive working environment in the kitchen. Must have minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene, Level 3 preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.25-13.00 per hour
