Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook to join our friendly team.You will be responsible for creating delicious meals for up to 40 elderly residents .

Working 40 hours a week on rota basis to include some weekend working. There will be an opportunity to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and adhere to food safety regulations. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen at all times.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that will delight our residents.

Pay: From 12.75 per hour
