As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of meals, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of excellence. Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse team. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
