Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in meal preparation for various dining services, including catering events. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality meals. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages. Provide support in menu planning and recipe development as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
